Husband Zach and my pack of 3 siberian huskies (Wolfie, Annie, and Kylo) and our
tabby cat, Simon.
Why did you want to become a veterinarian?
I grew up in a house with lots of animals- dogs, cats, fish, hamsters etc. I’ve always been interested in medicine, so it became an easy choice to combine the two.
One educational thing you want pet owners to know:
Maintaining a lean, healthy weight can have a huge impact in reducing the risk of various health problems, which improves quality of life and longevity.
What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far from being in practice?
Having a great team makes life better for everyone!
Ever have any challenges as a pet owner?
Teaching my dogs to love regular grooming or accepting the need to vacuum every day.
If you weren’t a veterinarian, what job would you like to have?
Something creative, maybe a graphic designer
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Iv’ve played flute for almost 20 years and I’m currently teaching myself piano.
