I grew up on a small farm near Oelwein, Iowa

I serve 8 feline overlords.
Gargamel, Arthur Garfunkel, Pipkin Rabscultle, Gladys, Walter, Robin Zander, Jimothy and Urkel Grue
Why did you want to become a veterinarian?
I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember.
One thing you want pet owners to know:
I already know cats have claws; I don’t need the warning 😊
What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far from being in practice?
When I think I’ve seen it all, something new and unusual comes along.
Ever have challenges as a vet?
I have had several, but my own cat, Walter, has been my biggest challenge, due to his issues being behavioral (crazy ginger boy syndrome).
If you weren’t a veterinarian, what job would you like to have?
Landscape artist or Rock French Hornist
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
My cats have their own Instagram page and are more popular than I am.
