Why did you want to become a veterinarian?
Growing up, I realized how awesome the human-animal bond was between pets and their owners, and I wanted to be a part of that. Enjoying science and math in school also helped push me in that direction.
One educational thing you want pet owners to know:
A cat that vomits regularly is not normal! This could indicate a more serious medical problem that “just a hairball.”
What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far from being in practice?
Being a vet is just as much of a people job as an animal job!
Ever have any challenges as a pet owner?
I have a kitty with urinary issues- I know the stress it can cause an owner.

Elementary teacher
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m allergic to dogs and cats! My allergies told me I chose the wrong career…
